ARMISTICE DAY COMMEMORATION STILL ON

Maseru, Nov. 09 — Armistice day commemoration will go ahead as planned on Sunday, despite ongoing construction work at Makoanynae Square and rainy weather conditions anticipated over the weekend.

The Department of Home Affairs Public Relations Officer Mrs. Marelebohile Mothibeli has said.

However she could not comment on whether the department is ready or not for the commemoration based on the above mentioned situation.

On the other hand, Maseru City Council Public Relations Officer Mrs. Makatleho Mosala said although the council is continuing with construction work at Makoanyane Square, it will ensure that the place is in a state that would stage the armistice service…
