Quthing, 12 – – Christian groups in the district held a prayer service for Quthing members of Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) staff, at the police charge office premises in Moyeni on Thursday this week.
The prayer service organized by the Quthing LMPS Chaplaincy was intended to pray for divine protection for strength, peace and safety as they work often away from families focusing on community safety.
Church leaders at the event prayed for amongst others; general blessings and protection for security forces in general, community leaders, public servants from different departments, youth, families, the elderly, and improvement of education in the district.
In an interview with the District Police Commissioner Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Seabata Tutuoane expressed gratitude for the prayers, highlighting that the service which has also been held at police post by Christian Council of Lesotho (CCL) has been important as it uplifts morale of Police officers and contribute to their dedication and strength in service delivery…
