Mokhotlong Oct.21– The Portfolio Committee on Law and Public Safety held a public hearing at Mapholaneng in Mokhotlong on Monday.
The Committee Chairperson Mr. Mokuena Ramakatsa said the gathering was intended to collect views of the public on Bail Bill 2024, Stock theft (Amendment) Bill 2024 and Internal Security (Arms and Ammunition) Bill 2024.
Mr. Ramakatsa explained that the recommendations from the public regarding the Bills will be included in the formulation of the Acts so as to address the long-time outcry of the public especially on the issue of Bail. . .
