Maseru, Aug. 12 — Econet Telecom Lesotho (ETL), through its social investment arm, Higherlife Foundation Lesotho (HLFL) held an event to bid farewell to two scholars who have earned the opportunity to further their studies at renowned institutions of higher learning in the United States of America, through the support of Higherlife Foundation Lesotho.
Speaking at this event, the Minister of Education and Training Professor Ntoi Rapapa said that the support that ETL is giving to the government of Lesotho in supporting the education sector is recognized and is an exceptional dedication that the company is giving towards improving the lives of vulnerable Basotho children.
He indicated that with such initiatives the country of Lesotho is expected to develop based on the skills that the scholars would have acquired while studying in other parts of the world.
He therefore wished the scholars well and urged them to go and make not only their parents but also the country as well.
