Maseru, Nov.03—-A former police officer Jeremane Sekhoola who is charged with murder of his girlfriend Matsépang Moleleki was on Monday dumped by his lawyer Advocate Katiso Nhlapo when the case was to proceed.
Adv. Nhlapo applied for his withdrawal from the case indicating that when he continued with consultation with the accused, he discovered some information which rendered him conflicted. He pointed out that if he had that information before he was instructed, he could not have taken the case.
When asked by the Court what he intends to do, the accused stated that he plans to instruct Adv. Motiea Teele (KC) as his new legal representative. He thus asked the court to release him on bail or pursuant to Speedy Court Trials Act so that he can secure the lawyer…
