HOSTILITY FROM PM, COMMANDER MADE ME LEAVE-LEKHOOA

Maseru, Sept 24— Former Director General National Security Services (NSS) Colonel Tumo Lekhooa (57) who has approached the High Court seeking bail following charges on the murder of Maaparankoe Mahao, has on Wednesday told the court that he left the country because the then Prime Minister (PM) Dr. Motsoahae Thabane and army commander, the late Lieutenant General Khoantle Motsomotso were hostile towards him.

This he said in court during an inquiry conducted by the court with an intention to get assistance in determining his bail application.

“I left the country because of cumulative and mutually reinforcing insurmountable hostilities and death threats directed to me”, he told the court…
