Maseru, Mar.12 — The Managing Director of the Lesotho Electricity Company (LEC) together with about 8 Heads of divisions are reported to have been placed on suspension.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Wednesday, the electricity company’s Public Relations Officer Mr. Ts’epang Ledia said that the suspension comes after a continuing audit process that the board of the company is currently implementing.
He indicated the suspended officers are to be off duty for a period of 3 months with possibilities of returning to work.
He however mentioned that head of the divisions are from the sections of finance, corporate communication, Information Technology (IT), customer experience, audit, strategy and legal. . .
