LeFA REJECTS M40 000 GOVT SUBSIDY

Maseru, June 25 – The Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) President Advocate Salemane Phafane KC described the M40 000 subsidy from the Government as an insult to the association hence they rejected it.

In his media briefing held at Bambatha Tsíta Sports Arena Advocate Phafane KC told the media that they rejected the subvention on the ground that it was too small and had no value to assist the Association in its forthcoming competitions.

He mentioned that currently, Lesotho senior national side, Likuena is engaged in the FIFA World Cup qualifier and now about to take part in COSAFA Cup, adding that later this month the draw for Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier will be conducted. . .
