LESOTHO, IRELAND STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH KNOWLEDGE SHARING 

Maseru, Aug. 18 — The Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho in Ireland has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening relations between Lesotho and Ireland through knowledge sharing, educational partnerships and cultural exchange.

The commitment was made during a constructive engagement between the Embassy and Action Ireland Trust which focused on identifying opportunities for enhanced collaboration in areas that can contribute to mutual development and community advancement.

In her remarks, Lesotho’s Ambassador to Ireland Ms Nts’ebo Moshoeshoe underscored the importance of nurturing the longstanding bonds between the peoples of Lesotho and Ireland.

She indicated that the discussions also explored ways of deepening educational partnerships and promoting cultural exchange between the two countries.

She highlighted the value of continued cooperation and partnerships that create opportunities for communities in both countries to share knowledge and experiences.

The Embassy however expressed appreciation to Action Ireland Trust for its continued commitment to the people of Lesotho saying it looks forward to further strengthening the valued partnership.

The engagement comes as Lesotho and Ireland continue to build on their longstanding people-to-people relations with education, cultural exchange and community development providing important areas for cooperation.
