Maseru, Nov. 11—Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) says Likuena is due to face Angola in the second round of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) following its 4-3 penalty victory over Namibia.
Lesotho will face Angola in the next round of the competition with the winner guaranteed a ticket to the next year’s tournament to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
The Football Association says Likuena drew first blood in the first leg fixture but Namibia was able to equal the tie winning the reverse fixture by the same margin through a Lawrence Doeseb second half strike.
It indicates that Lesotho will now face Angola in the second round of the CHAN qualifiers consisting of only players playing their trade in each country’s domestic league…
