Maseru, May 21 – Newly crowned Vodacom Premier League Lioli Football Club will parade the league championship trophy they won in Teyateyaneng and surrounding villages on Friday.
Lioli General Manager, Mr. Lekhooa Thabaneng told the Agency on Tuesday that the club’s management has resolved to undertake a trophy tour in their home town of Teyateyaneng and nearby villages to celebrate the recent success with the club followers.
He said later the same day the team and management will take the trophy to Ha ‘Mamathe to the Principal Chief Sempe Khabasheane Masupha homestead to present the trophy to him as the club’s patron.
The General Manager said there will also be an award ceremony in which the club’s players will be recognised for their individual contribution to the club’s recent success.
