Mafeteng, Nov.12 — At least 43 children were assessed during a five-day Positive Deviance activity held at Lit’soeneng in Tsakholo from Monday to Friday this week.
The activity which was conducted by the District Nutrition Team and supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition brought together breastfeeding mothers, fathers and guardians taking care of under five children.
In an interview with the District Food and Nutrition Coordinating Officer Mrs.’Mathabang Kalaka said the activity is conducted to encourage healthy feeding of under five children while at the same time encouraging breastfeeding mothers to breastfeed from birth to at least two years. . .
