Maseru, April.06—With the Easter holidays approaching, the Lesotho Mounted Police Service (LMPS) has appealed to the nation to be vigilant as these are times that crimes occur.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Thursday, the Lesotho Mounted Police Service Public Relations Officer Senior Superintendent Mpiti Mopeli said it is important that the nation stays away from activities that can expose them to crime.
He also pleaded with motorists that will be making trips during these holidays to also stay alert, rest when need arises and also to not indulge in alcohol and drive.
Previously, Senior Superintendent Mopeli urged the nation to be cautious as this is a time most people will be hoping for opportunities such as schools and employment from foreign countries and perpetrators will be taking advantage of such people due to their vulnerability….
