Quthing, Oct. 08 – – King Letsie III led a tour on agricultural production exhibit at a National event to mark International World Food Day held at Koali Agricultural Resource Centre (RC) on Friday this week.
Speaking at the event the King who has also been a African Union (AU) Nutrition Champion since 2014 commended commitment of Basotho in food production despite the effects of climate change as this is demostrated by their exhibits.
He highlighted that the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition has Irrigation Policy and it is high time that the it is implemented to address a challenge of drought in food production. . .
