Maseru, Sept.22—Despite the chilly weather 195 graduands dressed in their graduation regalia graced the launch of a weeklong golden jubilee convocation of the National University of Lesotho (NUL) on Monday at Roma.
Sesotho says, “Pula ke mahlopha a senya” but to the parents and graduands it is a blessing to the hard work that they endured in the past years.
This was confirmed by a proud and happy mother, Mrs. ‘Mathabo Mohlomi who said she came despite drizzling rain to celebrate with her daughter.
She said the rain is a sign of blessings on this momentous event.
The launch saw the procession of the university Chancellor King Letsie III led by the Lesotho Defence Force band.
