Maseru, July 24 — Politicians and Basotho gathered at the Lehakoe Recreational Centre in Maseru on Monday in remembrance of the late Mr. Habofanoe Lehana.
Mr. Lehana died on July 09 due to asthma which he battled for a long time.
Speaking at the memorial service on behalf of the government, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane said the death of Mr. Lehana robbed the country of a politician who contributed towards promotion of farming for the economic growth of Lesotho.
He emphasised that when Basotho cast their votes during elections, they elect the government that would address their needs, saying Mr. Lehana did that by promoting production through agriculture. . . .
