Maseru, July.22 – Youth within Khubetsoana and other neighbouring areas will from Monday be given free TAEKWONDO lessons at the Khubetsoana community hall
This emerged in an interview with the organiser of this lessons who is also a local taxi owner Mr. Masisimane Pheko who showed that this initiative was brought up due to the usage of drugs and alcohol which is actively happening in the areas of Khubetsoana.
In this interview with the Agency, Mr. Pheko mentioned that these years many children go through different life challenges that open them to new experiences in terms of social interactions or new surroundings and due to these experiences, they often become vulnerable and encounter drugs and alcohol for the first time therefore these lessons are aimed at keeping them busy and distracted from using drugs.
