Maseru, Sept 15 – The Federation Athletics Lesotho (FAL) is currently training teachers on basic coaching courses as a way of uplifting athletics in schools.
FAL Secretary General Mr. Makara Thilinyane told the Agency on Friday that the Federation is training 40 teachers in each district and that eventually there will be a total of 400 well trained teachers.
He said they are targeting schools as many children spend most of their time in schools more than in their homes during the day.
