MPs TO OBSERVE GBV DAY

Maseru, Nov. 24 — The Minister of Sports, Tourism and Culture Mr. Motlatsi Maqelepo says there is need to address a challenge of moral decay in a bid to combat Gender Based Violence (GBV).

This he said in the National Assembly when the house resolved to observe November 27 as a day to commemorate 16 days of activism against gender based violence campaign pursuant to standing order No 78 (1) (n).

Mr. Maqelepo said Basotho especially youth are unable to differentiate right from wrong and this leads to murders of women and children thus there is need to address a challenge of moral decay, saying it must be included in the school curriculum so that children could grow up having morals.
