SEMINARIANS CELEBRATE CENTENARY JUBILEE

Maseru, Feb.11 — Seminarians and community on Sunday celebrated the launch of 100 years jubilee of St. Augustine’s Major Seminary in Roma.

The launch precedes the many activities to be held throughout the year  until November 09 which will be the climax of the celebration.

This coincides with  the 200 years of Lesotho’s founding.

In his remarks, St. Augustine’s Major Seminary’s Rector, Reverend Dr. Paul Lekena said that the celebration is based on Leviticus 25: 10 which reads, “So you must consecrate this year and you must proclaim a release in the land for all its inhabitants. This year will be your Jubilee”.

He said that as Seminarians they should consecrate and sanctify words that guide then through the year. . .
