BASOTHO YOUTH TURN SLAVE OF DRUGS

Maseru, Oct.31 — Basotho youth on both sexes with ages ranging from 13 seem to be trapped under the web of substance abuse in a form of drugs in different types such as glue, petrol, crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, Methcathinone (CAT) marijuana and alcohol.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Tuesday, Mrs. Thato Matsipa of the ‘Help our children’ association which is formed by parents battling with the trauma of their children’s enslavement in drugs said that there is a need for immediate action by all the relevant stakeholders towards freeing Basotho youth.

She said that their hope is to see the justice system awarding sentencing that are worthy to the dealers who are brought forth before them by the Police.. .
