Maseru, Nov. 16 — A case in which some army members are accused of killing three men at Mafeteng in 2012 has been scheduled to proceed on Monday next week.
Hearing of the case has recently been stalled due to various reasons including non-operational recording machines within the judiciary which were attacked by a virus. The case could not proceed on several occasions and had to be postponed because it is essential for proceedings in a criminal trial to be electronically recorded.
Another reason which caused the recent delay in the matter is that the Presiding Judge Justice Polo Banyane is one of the Acting Judges of the Court of Appeal which is still in session until tomorrow. . .
