Qacha’sNek, Nov.16 — Department of Social Development Acting District Manager, Mr. Eric Nkopa says the department through its District Child Protection Team (DCPT) will from November 22 to 23 embark on revival of Malimong, Ha Noosi and Sehlabathebe Community Council Child Protection Team (CCCPT) with the aim of improving child protection.
This he announced on Thursday at the DCPT quarterly review meeting aimed at discussing progress review of their plan and CCCPT refresher trainings following a two-day case management refresher training for Quthing and Qacha’s Nek DCPT members held around late September by Karabo ea Bophelo (KB) project through Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in collaboration with the Department of Social Development.
This initiative will also be supported by KB. However, DCPT members are expected to share what they gained from the training without any facilitation from outside. . .
