COMMUNITY FIGHT UNEMPLOYMENT

Maseru, Dec. 27 – In an attempt to reduce unemployment at Ha Thetsane, the community (unemployed) have been advised to gather at Lifefo playground where registration list will be compiled on Friday morning.

According to Chief Tahleho Montsi of Ha Thetsane Maseru, his office with support of the Maseru City Council (MCC) will be compiling the said lists, adding all people despite their political status and over the ages of 18 wishing to register are allowed to do so.

He explained that supporting documents such as Identity Documents (ID’s) should be brought along for authentication purposes. “Unemployment is a serious challenge facing the entire country; therefore we are hopeful that this upcoming process will yield positive results for Ha Thetsane community”.

Meanwhile, Chief Monts’i stated that MCC is engaged in a number of activities meant to revamp the city, saying in projects requiring labourers, he is hopeful that some among those who would have registered will get a fair share. . .
