Ficksburg,Aug.28–Child labour, prostitution and armed robbery are the common traits which the community of Meqheleng in Ficksburg have identified and associated with human trafficking.
This is according to Mr. Tseeke Tseeke who is a community patroller in Meqhelekeng while stating some of the traits associated with human trafficking that they have identified within their area at the Human trafficking awareness campaign which was facilitated by the Cross border Crime Prevention Forum on Tuesday.
According to Mr. Tseeke, there are girls ranging from the ages of 13 which are normally seen roaming the streets at night and claim they come from Lesotho and sleep under the bridges.
