Mohale’s Hoek, July 28 — Patients from various villages in the district who have gathered at Nts’ekhe Government Hospital to get health services on Monday have expressed their disappointment in the country’s health system.
In an interview with the Agency one of them who commented on condition of anonymity noted that she had been in a queue from 6:00am, while others highlighted that they arrived at around 5:00am but only one doctor had been checking them.
This follows an announcement made by Lesotho Medical Association (LMA) that doctors will from July 28 not be working in outpatients department, after what the association reported to be unjust suspension of its members who were demanding to be paid call allowances.
