HERDERS SENSITISED ON CLIMATE CHANGE 

Mokhotlong Aug.14 — It is critical for all members of the communities including herders to be sensitised on climate change in order to help them to reduce impacts while increasing adaptation efforts.

This was said by Ms. Rorisang Kurubally who is the Communications Officer for Improving Adaptive Capacity of Vulnerable and Food Insecure Populations in Lesotho (IACOV) project in Lesotho when engaging with herders in climate change issues from Malefiloane, Mokhotlong on Monday.

Ms. Kurubally said one of the project activities is to raise awareness of vulnerable communities on climate change impacts and adaptation hence this kind of event to enhance herders understanding on climate change so that they can reduce their vulnerability.
