Maseru, Jan. 05 — Lesotho National Federation of Organizations of the Disability (LNFOD) continues to advocate for the effective implementation of Lesotho Inclusive Education Policy and Persons with Disability Equity Act, which clearly recognize Braille as the form of writing for visually impaired persons.

This was said by LNFOD Executive Director Adv. Nkhasi Sefuthi in commemoration of the international Braille day whose theme was ‘Empowering through inclusive and diversity’.

Adv. Sefuthi said the Federation also advocates for the production of textbooks in accessible formats including in Braille to enable visually impaired persons to acquire skills.
