MINISTER URGES CARE OF TREES

Leribe, Aug. 19 — Minister of Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament for Hololo constituency says the community of Mathebe take care of the 100 fruit trees consisting of apples and peaches planted at ‘Mutlanyana Primary school in Botha Bothe on Friday.

This was done under the initiative by Gem Institute in partnership with Econet and Lesotho National Office for UNESCO.

Speaking at the Act 4 Climate Change launch of the tree planting, Mr. Lejone Mpotjoane said it is the responsibility of chief, community councilor and community members to make sure that the trees are not destroyed.
