Maseru, Jul.21—At least ten Pension Accountants within the Ministry of Social Development have filed an application before the High Court challenging digital payment of Old Age Pension.
The applicants are in the application asking the court to issue an order reviewing and setting aside the decision of the Minister of Social Development and the Minister of Finance to pilot the digital payment for the Old Age Pension before the programme objectives thereof are approved by Parliament, as irregular and of no force and effect.
