NATION URGED TO COLLECT THEIR PASSPORTS

Maseru, Aug. 22—The department of Passports within the ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Police and Home Affairs has urged all Basotho who have made applications for passports to collect them at the passport offices in their respective districts.

Speaking in an interview with the Agency on Tuesday, the Principal Secretary in the aforementioned ministry Mr. Tumelo Raboletse stated that  between December, 2022 and January 2023,  many Basotho made passport applications but are currently failing to collect them.

He mentioned that in Maseru, there are over 5000 passports which have been printed but not been collected  by their owners.
