Mohale’s Hoek, April. 30 — Following the National Identity and Civil Registry ( NICR’s) recent visit to various villages in the district, a 64-year-old man from Ha- Panta has been found in possession of his death certificate.
This was confirmed by NICR’S District Manager Reverend Advocate Matekoa Sebapalo in an interview with the Agency, where the latter noted that the purpose of the visit was to conduct investigations regarding issuance of documents.
Rev. Adv. Sebapalo stated that investigations are a routine carried out by the Ministry’s Integrity and Quality Assurance (IQA) section, after coming to a realization that there are individuals who go as far as claiming insurances with fraudulent death certificates. . .
