Leribe, Apr.30 — In an effort to disseminate information on Child Protection issues, District Child Protection Team (DCPT) and Hlotse Urban Council have reached agreement on working together in educating residents in respective Electoral Divisions on Child Protection issues.
This was reached at the meeting held at Hlotse Urban Council premises on Tuesday.
Speaking at the meeting DCPT Secretary Mr. Morema Phits’ane said DCPT is on the pipeline in forming Electoral Division Child Protection structures hence the meeting.
Mr. Phits’ane explained that the structures are made up of a chief, community councillor, community Policing member, Village Health Worker, support groups, traditional leaders, faith leaders, schools representatives, Child representatives and parent representative. . .
