OVER 400 HOUSEHOLDS WITHOUT ELECTRICITY SUPPLY IN METOLONG

Maseru, Aug. 09 — At least 405 households at Ha Seeiso and Ha Makotoko in the Metolong area are still living without electricity supply despite the Metolong Authority having connected all the villages around the Metolong dam.

Mr. Letebele Rabotsoa, who is a Community Councillor for Ratau A02, told the Agency on Wednesday that at least 405 households are still living without the electricity supply, after they were left behind during the Metolong Authority’s electrification project of all the villages in the area.

He said these households were left because their houses were still under construction or had not yet been built during the electrification of these villages under the Metolong Authority.
