Quthing, July 01 – – The members of Quthing District Child Protection Team (DCPT ) on Friday Day celebrated Day of African Child together with children from Quthing and Mohale’s hoek districts by renovation of Child and Gender Protection (CGPU) office at district police charge office premises on Friday this week.
The celebration on the theme ‘’leveraging on Digital media to achieve agenda 2040 for an Africa fit for Children” started with a four-day workshop on Early Identification and safe referral of child protection cases held for more than 40 children from Mohale’s hoek and Quthing until Friday.
Speaking at the same event, the Quthing District Police Commander Senior Superintendent ‘Mamoipone Mohloai commended DCPT for its commitment in working hand in hand with the police in engagement in engagement of various strategies in in line with the Law to ensure effective protection on children in the district…..
