ROAD SAFETY CAMPAIGN RUNS SMOOTHLY

Maseru, Dec. 11 — Although the festive road safety campaign has been running smoothly countrywide since its launch, some motorists continue to breach road safety regulations.

According to Principal Road Safety Officer Mr. Setsoto Putsoa, some motorists continue to engage in overspeeding and overloading, saying to overcome this challenge, road safety stakeholders provide education to road users about the importance of complying with road regulations.

However he said they have discovered that most vehicles are in good condition, warning motorists to take precautions when it is rainy by ensuring that wipers are working, in good condition and be aware of potholes.
