Maseru, Dec. 03 — Spokesperson for Basotho Action Party (BAP), Mr. Lepolesa Makutoane says Mr. Lebohang Thotanyane is not a member of the BAP anymore.
This he said in an interview on Sunday indicating that a special conference which was held on Saturday concluded to cancel his party membership. He pointed out that this follows various cases of misconduct, incompetence as well as causing division within the party by Mr. Thotanyane.
He stated that Mr. Thotanyane was failing to do his work as Secretary-General of the party. He added that he had his own group of followers within the party which caused division. He further added that he was engaged in a smear campaign against the BAP hence the decision to dismiss him.
