Oct. 28 – – Children from more than two-hundred Integrated Early Childhood Care Development (IECCD) centers in the southern districts gathered at Liphakoe sports Upper Moyeni on their sports regalia to mark IECCD rally with different sports on Friday.
The Acting District Administrator at the event Mr. Likano Molelekoa encouraged parents and guardians to take children to the IECCD centers as they provide opportunities for a child to learn and develop in preparation for primary education.
He stated that early childhood education and care programs equip children with social, cognitive and emotional skills they need to help them continue learning and these benefits extend well beyond primary school.
