Qacha’s Nek, Feb.01–The District Education Manager (DEM ) Mr. Lebenya Mothibeli has distributed 51 school shoes to vulnerable pupils in different primary schools.
These shoes formed part of the 400 donation from the Vodacom Lesotho Foundation in August 25, 2023.
Speaking to the Agency, Mr. Mothibeli said some of the beneficiaries (schools) failed to take responsibility as they did not fetch them and they did not even give reasons hence the office decided to give them to other schools in need.
Vodacom Lesotho’s provision of shoes was a response to the Ministry’s call to assist vulnerable children as part of its corporate social responsibility. . .
