MULTITUTES ATTEND KOBILE’S BURIAL SERVICE 

Maseru, Apr. 28 — Scores of people paid last respects to the late Tsénolo FM founder and Managing Director, Mr. Mohau Kobile during a burial service in Maseru today.

The service held  in Maseru was led by Seventh Day  Adventist Church (SDA) and  commenced with a family quartet, singing a hymn remembering how Jesus Christ died for all.

The service, regarded the greatest by some as the deceased  is said to have lived his life with meaning, saw  government officials, media veterans, family, friends and colleagues’ presence to send their goodbyes to the deceased who succumbed to death while at a hospital in Bloemfontein recently.

This  is due to a number of illnesses including liver problems, diabetes and low blood. He is reported to have been sick since 2015.

Delivering words of comfort on behalf of the in laws, Minister of Trade, Mr. Mokhethi Shelile stated that it was gratifying to have had a son in law like Kobile, who was loving and lived peacefully with the society.

He appealed to the rest of the family to be united, continue working hard as the deceased was a hard worker.

Similarly, Advocate Fine Maema, National Assembly Clerk (Kobile’s Uncle) said the deceased  from childhood has shown a high level of intelligence, “I was aways  available and advised him whenever he needed legal expertise”. 

The deceased’s daughter, ‘Mats’eliso Kobile said their father will remain in their hearts eternally due to a mark snd legacy he left.

Kobile aged 53 was born in Thaba Nchu, South South Africa. He is the second son of Mr. Lekhotla and Mrs. ‘Malineo Kobile. He has studied at Methodist Primary and Lesotho High School.  

The entrepreneurial mindset in him saw him landing as Maseru Mayor years ago. He also served as Local Government Commissioner, a position he held since 2015 when Lesotho was in its third coalition government. He was survived by his wife and two children, boy and girl.
