MINISTER HANDS OVER POLICE STATION

Maseru, Apr. 05 — The Minister of Information, Communications, Science, Technology and Innovation (MICSTI), Mrs. Nthati Moorosi handed over the revamped Lithoteng Police Station in Maseru on Friday.

The station which has been renovated with financial support gained from Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) serves over 300 000 population in the vicinity of Lithoteng.

Handing over the station,  Minister Moorosi highlighted the importance  of working in a conducive environment so as to uplift the spirit of police officers  in their quest to protect people’s properties and their lives in the advent of a variety of criminal activities.

She indicated that LCA through its Chief Executive Officer is a needed force  in today’s changing world of technology. “While we are in the process of digitisation policy, LCA is step ahead in implementation, this is commendable”. She added.
