Quthing, August 21 — The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) District Voter Educator
in Local Government Elections Mrs. ‘Mathapelo Malela says Chiefs play a vital role in
support of the commission to run a fair elections process.
In an interview with the Agency Mrs. Malela said Chiefs are bound by Elections Act to
among other activities to work hand in hand with the IEC staff in among others removal on
deceased from voters’ list through filling of forms to report the deceased to the commission
to be removed for release of clean voters’ list.
