Leribe, Jan. 10 — The year 2024 is not an exception for District Child Protection Team (DCPT) Leribe in protecting a child in different areas of the district.
The Secretary of the team Mr. Morema Phits’ane explained that Community Council Child Protection Team (CCCPT) Ramapepe has already given out it’s annual plan to DCPT to take part in disseminating information on Child during its series of activities commencing from January to October.
According to the annual plan, some of the challenges facing the community of Ha Ramapepe are sexual abuse, child marriage, child pregnancy, physical abuse on children, child negligence, drug usage by children and failure of children to attend school.
