Maseru, Jan. 10 — The Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) has reported positive results from the farming project that the corporation is currently piloting in Masianokeng.
Speaking in an interview with the Agency, the Corporate Communication Manager of LNDC Ms. Tiisetso Moremoholo said the project is managed by ‘Litholoana Tsa Basotho’ farmers with the purpose of increasing production of agricultural produce within the country.
She said that the project is a 10 tunnel project with which there is produce of green pepper and tomatoes while the expectation is to have a roll out of about 100 tunnels of produce on a variety of products.
