Mokhotlong July 24 — The Livestock Registration Management Information System (LRMIS) Acting District Manager in Mokhotlong, Mr. Ts’epo Phako says by right, herders should be registered with LRMIS just like it is being done with the livestock they tend.
Mr. Phako said herders’ registration can be helpful to protect them because when stock theft has occurred they become the prime suspects in most cases.
He recommended the livestock owners to ensure herders are registered so that they can be known and make it easy to fight stock theft which is one of the major challenges facing Mokhotlong district.
