Maseru, Mar. 25 – Lesotho has launched an Emergency, Preparedness, and Response Flagship Initiative Roadmap as it strives to ensure health and security in the country in support of the World Health Organisation (WHO).
Following an unforgettable impact by the COVID-19 pandemic and lessons learned from it, Lesotho endorsed strengthening health emergency preparedness and response as it was falling behind on providing the required services to the people.
With the help of WHO, the Government of Lesotho stated that their overarching goal is to develop a roadmap that would also help strengthen their response in cases such as the COVID-19 and with the help of WHO. . .
