MISA MEMBERS BLAME NEW NGC

Maseru, April 15 — Some members of the Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Lesotho, blamed newly elected National Governing Council (NGC) led by Mr. Kananelo Boloetse for failing to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) recently, accusing the council of being negligent.

While some members have voiced out their concerns via MISA Lesotho WhatsApp (members group), the former Chairperson, Mr. Nkoale Oetsi Ts’oana officially issued a letter to Mr. Boloetse which has been copied to MISA Regional Governing Council (RGC) and MISA Board of Trustees.

The urgent letter of inquiry expressed deep concern and demand clarity over the absence of NGC at the AGM scheduled for March 31, 2024 despite the official call for the meeting by the Deputy Secretary General, Ms. ‘Matiisetso Mosala, saying it was unacceptable that none of the members showed off.
