RECENT RAINS NOT AFFECTING ROADS CONSTRUCTION-RALITAPOLE

Maseru, April 15 — Machache constituency legislator Mr. Motheho Ralitapole says the recent rains have not negatively affected the construction of a 23 kilometre gravel road from Baleming to Thota-peli in the Machache constituency.

Mr. Ralitapole told the Agency on Monday that the recent rains are instead helping to strengthen the road since it is not thundershowers.

He said during the construction phase, a least 20 labourers from the nearby villages are being employed on rotation since the construction started till August this year when the construction would be expected to complete.

The Legislator stated that the gravel road is now about to reach the Liphiring River.
