LESOTHO ON HUMAN RIGHTS DAY

Maseru, Dec.08– Minister of Law and Justice Mr. Richard Ramoeletsi will officiate at the International Human Rights day to be held at ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre on December 10.

Mrs. Malesaoana Mohale, the Ministry’s Communication Officer said the overall objective of the celebration is to create awareness to the hard to reach citizens on issues of human rights.

Mrs. Mohale mentioned that specific objectives include creating a culture of respect of human rights among the populace, by providing human rights education for, with and by the youth, as that will ensure their engagement as major actors in promoting respect, justice and solidarity in their communities. .
