Maseru, Dec. 08 — Despite rising temperatures this December, Lesotho Meteorological Services (LMS) has warned against a possibility of a heat wave starting from Sunday.

The LMS says the heat wave is expected to invade the country from this Sunday up to Wednesday this week.

It has warned that there is a possible rise in temperatures that will go between 33 and 36 degrees in the lowlands while the highlands will experience a rise up to 30 degrees.

The LMS further indicates that on Thursday temperatures are likely to drop.
